This is weird. It came up again (apparently without human intervention) for a while on Saturday, but now it’s down again. The web server is getting a “1040” mysqli error when it tries to connect to the database. Apparently this error means “too many connections” (to the database)
Down again now:
“Unable to connect to database. Please try again later. 1040”
Getting restored without human intervention was probably due to the web service scheduled restart. The continuing issue seems to be database-related.
