Setting up automatic redirection from http:// to https://?

Thank you for recently adding our project (“confluence”) to your HTTPS certificate, so that the URLs “https://www.confluence.org” and “https://confluence.org” now work OK. However, I would also like to set up automatic redirection from HTTP, so that web browser clients who type “http://www.confluence.org” or “http://confluence.org” will automatically get redirected to the “https://” URLs.

I tried to do this using our project’s own “.htaccess” file, but I kept getting browser ‘redirect errors’ - perhaps because this was interfering somehow with ibiblio’s more global rules?

Could you please set up automatic redirection from “http://” to “https://”, or else let us know the proper way to do this ourselves?

Very much the same issue here with https://www.friendsoftibet.org/ as well.
Once again, we thank Ibiblio for resolving the issue with https certificate. https://www.friendsoftibet.org/ is now fine!

@rf-confluence We have added an Apache rewrite rule for your site to use https only.

@milberg My campus radio station uses http://audio-ice2.ibiblio.org:8000/wsoe.mp3 to host our internet stream. The new browser updates have made the stream incompatible with embedding it on our HTTPS site. How do I go about changing that stream to an HTTPS based link?

@wsoeelon That stream is available at https://audio-ice2.ibiblio.org/wsoe.mp3
Does using this URL work for you?

Yes thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
