Accessing the pfaf database fails suspiciously - hacked?

did search from the home page of the “Plants for a Future” database copy, and the search downloaded an elf executable file to my laptop. This could be a malware download.

Also searching the pfaf database using:
http://www.ibiblio.org/pfaf/cgi-bin/arr_html?Lathyrus+pratensis
downloaded a similar excutable binary with a different size called “arr_html”.

I think these search pages may have been hacked, or the web-server is incompatible with the latest version of chrome running on my chromebook.

Best regards,
Hugh Collins.
